Louis J. Kalmar, P. Eng., president and founder of Kalmark Integrated Systems, has 40 years of experience in the design, development and manufacturing of wire and cable production equipment. His level of expertise is unmatched, leading to innovative manufacturing solutions and efficiency of production.
KALMARK is an industry leader in the manufacturing and development of rotating equipment for wire and cable production. Our equipment can be used to produce electrical wire and cable, steel rope, conduit, flexible pipe and fibre optics products.
We offer flexible solutions to meet your cable making demands. This may include standard new equipment production lines, as well as custom solutions for upgrading existing equipment with new custom performance enhancing upgrades of digital controls and auxiliary equipment. Also offered are reconditioning services and spare parts for all brands of Western OEM produced equipment.
Our engineers and technicians have a broad understanding of cable making concepts and methods, allowing us to help you achieve your goals in production speed and capacity. Our History
- 2024
The 125mm Interlock Armouring Machine has a new and more modern look. The design is not only visually appealing but entails precision improvements that were not previously possible to achieve.
- 2023
KALMARK has again expanded its manufacturing facility to accommodate the scale of equipment being produced.
- 2020 - 2022
Adapting to COVID-19 protocol, KALMARK continues to provide regular sales of new equipment and spare parts, machine refurbishing, equipment upgrades, and remote diagnosis and service.
- 2016
KALMARK introduces new front-loading 50mm Interlock Machine with an adjustable angle tooling head.
- 2013
Research & development produces a new and improved Strip Rewinder for use with Interlock Amouring Lines
- 2012
KALMARK introduced a new design for 2.2m & 3m Single Twist Roll Form Stranding line for up to 61 wires by 500mm2.
- 2007
KALMARK delivers numerous Interlock Armouring lines to the Chinese market for the production of electrical submersible pump (ESP) applications of flat armoured cable.
- 2003
KALMARK repositions itself for international sales, becoming the number one preferred brand in the Asian Market.

The KALMARK brand is established.

Louis Kalmar, P.Eng., establishes the company CABLETRADE INDUSTRIES INC., as an OEM cable equipment manufacturer.
- 1980
Louis Kalmar graduates with a Bachelor of Engineering from Carlson University and begins working as a design engineer for a leading OEM cable equipment manufacturer.
